he Art of impressionism has come to be the new thing which widely
spread to Thailand in the last 70-80 years as same as music and other international arts to make people in society to wonder, to gaze and to recount in various ideas .
To claim the works of original French Artists over the last hundred years
comparison to the work of present Thai Artists is not correct especially
in content and principle,  it is completely different . Initially Impressionists had principle influencing from the growth of new technological knowledge, principle revolution,
deleting an old traditional belief of gathering people under the
faith of religion and dignity of class , when individualism has
been extensively come regarding people to be awared and
called for own's worth. Impressionism is freedom and new belief
of art color with reasonable point without color and blindness
if no reflection of light through the eyes of artist. Every
Impressionist in the beginning period has created his work
through the idea which is varied from Thai Impressionist, at
present Impressionism Art in only one of the patterns of creation
art teaching in school, Impressionism Art in Thailand does not
hold in any beliefs as satisfaction in apparently presenting fresh,
vivid and emotional work.“Cosy ChiangRai 5 the season of
falling blossoms” is the 5thsolo exhibition of Chaiwichit Sitthiwong
an interesting Thai Artist who insists on presenting impressionism
Art after Archarm Charoon Boonsuan, Akachai Luadsoongnern and
the two older ChiangRai Artists, Sa-ngiam Yarangsee and Apirak
Panmoonsilp whose works influenced on Chaiwichit's idea of works.
The first sets of painting, Chaiwichit is likely to paint his surrounding
scenery around the village he settles, the views of rice fields, many
paintings in a bunch of rice straw have drawn repeatedly. The later
sets he has paint swamp, the reflection of water developing to
paint river and big pond which is delighted and interesting unique
of his works.Until the latest sets he added much more of these ideas
and the way to paint as he tries to run for catching the wind, the
seasonal change of sun testing with a bunch of flowers and green
leaves. Chaiwichit is opening the coloring windows with attractive
atmosphere for everyone to see with loving sleight-of his hand
sweeping paint on creating story of impressionism plus his own self
and the movement like the blowing of the wind then puff away to wait
for what will happen in his works onwards.
Chaiwichit Sitthiwong is a local ChiangRai Artist, he has grown
up through his young age in natural crucible flourishing with bush,
blossoms, seasons and attachment attraction way of life, nature,
purity which is calling him to be back to nature by taking his painting
equipments to travel various seasonal places, blooming and falling
blossoms lulling rhythm from the sky and on the ground to wake up,
to slumber for everything circulation without infinity.... there. is a
heart to return again to sleight sweeping and run racing the breath
of impressionism to stay onwards.
